Clean through the fronts, a strong midlane read, and incredible drive through the pins. It creates the perfect motion for a light-medium oil benchmark bowling ball. Paired with the Gear core, and you will find a benchmark bowling ball that needs to be in every single arsenal.
Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.
For the balanced bowler the Venom Shock is an absolute must have in the middle of their arsenal. Balanced bowlers will find that the versatility of the shock allows it to be used in many different volumes and lengths of oil from dry lanes to moderately high volumes of oil. The Venom SHOCK was the first Motiv ball that I purchased, I am so glad for this purchase. My very first game with this ball after not bowling for 20 years was 256. This is the ball that I start with when the lanes are medium to somewhat heavier oil. I set my average in my first league this last season at 207 with the Venom shock. If you don't already have this ball in your arsenal, then I highly recommend getting one. I know when I throw this ball out to the 1 or 2 board it will always come back. This is the ball that I have the most trust in that's in my arsenal.

This ball is amazing. I used it on the fresh oil pattern and it had a sharp reaction once it hit the end of the pattern. Every time I threw it I have strikes. This is a good ball for broken down lanes or even the fresh. I’m using the Shock for my benchmark or my third ball out of my bag. You need to get this ball in your bag, it will help with your score.

Finally got this ball drilled by staffer Kasey Uyesugi at Forest Lanes. Omg...why did I wait this long?!? Kasey drilled it with pin in my ring figure. The Venom Shock is good on fresh, medium or toasted lanes. All you do is move left or right . Thanks Motiv. My favorite ball ever!

Bought this ball on Friday used it in a tournament the day after and bowled really well 100 % recommend this ball it is a great addition to my bowling bag
A couple months back I was looking to get a new bowling ball and I had no idea what I was looking for in a ball. So I asked Kasey if he could help me out and he sure did he said that I was missing a piece for the middle of my bag. He recommended the shock after watching me throw a couple shots. Needless to say it is now my favorite ball and I used it to throw my first 300 game. Now 2 of my friends That I bowl league with also bought one after seeing mine and they are both just as happy.
