WOW! I'm just blown away by this ball. The new cover absolutely digs in the oil and the ball never seizes to quit. Throwing this ball on heavy oil patterns or fresh house shots, it shines all day long. What also baffles me is this cover does not lane shine fast at all! Very versatile ball for all types of bowlers, whether you are a tweener, or in my case a two-hander.

The new Forge Flare by Motiv is by far the most aggressive ball I have ever thrown. I waited until I had around 50 games on the Flare before writing a review to make sure this ball didn’t begin to slow down any. The all new Coercion MXC cover has held up nicely with very little lane shine. The Flare digs early and often and still retains energy to be continuous through the pins. My Flare is drilled pin up and with my lower ball speed and lower rev rate, I’m still able to control this ball with ease. The yellow, red and black colors are certainly eye catching.

The layout I used on the Forge Flare is 60x5 ¼ x65. I have never thrown a stronger symmetrical ball in my life! This ball will win plenty of tournaments. I was already able to find success with this ball, winning a Black Friday 10 game marathon tournament in Georgia. For how early this ball reads the pattern, you can find great continuation through the back part of the lane and through the pins. Most balls, when this early tend to struggle to continue on the back, the Forge Flare does not. When comparing the Forge Flare to other bowling balls, I would have to say the closest thing to it is an Alpha Jackal. Both balls for me see the midlane in about the same area, however where the Alpha Jackal tends to want to go forward, the Forge Flare will continue downlane. To me, this is truly the most unique bowling ball made by Motiv to date.

This ball is a must have, the continuation is unbelievable! Most solids if you get it right, it dies out and can’t recover or hooks the second it hits the friction and goes through the face, this ball is something else. It reads the mid lane and once it goes it DOES NOT STOP. By far my favorite for the beginning of a block! Get yours 12/9/2020!
