The new Golden Jackal™ brings the legend of a pearl Jackal™ to life.  Providing more length through the oil, the Golden Jackal™ displays an impressive backend motion.  Never before has there been a Jackal™ with this kind of agility and speed!

The Golden Jackal™ features the latest Predator™ V3 asymmetric weight block to provide massive track flare potential and hooking power.  This technology also produces a very low RG so the Golden Jackal™ is easier to rev, making it more forgiving on heavy oil patterns than higher RG balls that may slip past the proper transition point.

For generating powerful angle in high volume environments, the Hexion™ SE cover is incredible.  This Strength Enhanced version of Hexion™ technology produces outstanding down lane motion without sacrificing traction in the oil.  The factory finish on the Golden Jackal™ cover stock is 4000 Grit LSS.

About Me Started out with the golden jackal as a beginner, now I'm more of a decent amateur bowler.

    Golden Jackal

I truly got hooked on bowling 9 and a half months ago, where I got a used 13 pound ball from a friend and got it drilled to fit. Then I got a used ball from my dad and got that drilled. This led to me wanting to join a sport shot league, to which I know my several years old, worn and torn bowling balls would not suffice. I did all the research into plenty of different brands and balls, i.e. Brunswick, Storm, Motiv, Hammer. The one ball that truly stood out was the Golden Jackal. Just looking at the core, you know this ball was engineered for exactly what it's advertised as. All the research I did pointed to a yes for this ball, and the company as a whole. During the sport shot league, I learned a lot about bowling and how to manage every part of my shot and make due with the ball I'm using on the pattern I'm tasked with. I don't think I would've had such a motivation (no pun intended, but it worked out well) to better myself if I hadn't picked this ball. My other choice was the Storm PhysiX, and perhaps I may still get that ball one day to try it out. However, I know that in the future, I will be a part of the MotivNation and I'm not leaving.

I would recommend this to a friend

About Me I’m a bowler for only few months, and my first ball is the Motiv Golden Jackal

The best heavy oil ball in the world

I think that the Golden Jackal is a ball that’s both strong and controllable. For me, this ball is perfect to handle house patterns. The reason that I chose this ball as my first ball is because I’m a huge fan of Motiv and Golden Jackal is the latest ball so I just bought it without thinking twice!
Thank you Motiv! The balls from your company are great

One of the best on the market

If you're looking for an asymmetrical monster with a violent backend, this is the ball. It clears the fronts and midlane with no issue and soon as it gets downlane, it rips back with no hesitation. This ball reminds me a lot of the original Jackal. Another great piece to keep in the bag for league or any challenge pattern.

    Got to have ball

I took off for three years. Started a new job, bought a house, and other things. I recently got back into bowling and when I did I was throwing older Motiv equipment. Saw the videos and specs on this ball and decided to purchase the Golden Jackal. I took it to 3000 grit finish and polished it love the ball as a transition ball. Shot 290 with and a 740 series.

    Best balls on the market

After quitting bowling for 10 yrs my brother got me back into it... I started bowling again and he was staffed with Motiv so he said this is the gear for you, and I was hooked from the moment I threw the Abyss. Now I have quite the collection of balls but the Golden Jackal is in my top 3.. Everyone needs this ball
