The Jackal Legacy was a surprise for me, taking a big Assym core and wrapping it with a super strong shell in the past meant closed angles and a ball that labors to get back up the hill. Then I threw this one and my preconceived notions were shattered. The Jackal Legacy cleared the fronts then dug hard in the mids and made the corner very similar to the Jackal Ghost. It is one of those balls that I throw a couple times and put it away because I don’t want to wear it out, it was that good. Best way to describe the ball is a jacked-up version of the Jackal Ghost. I have it 5-7 boards stronger than the Ghost on the House shot.

What can I say about the Jackal Legacy?
It is almost like a big brother of the Forge Flare. Using the same cover found on the flare, and with the Predator V2 core, this ball gets down the lane a bit further while still having amazing traction in the oil. The shape down lane is round and very strong and is great for when you need a bigger ball and need it to shape down lane.
I have also had success playing straighter angles with this piece using different hand positions, this ball truly can do a LOT of things!

The name says it all "Jackal". The one name in the Motiv brand that has always turned heads and made people wonder how it can be so good. The Predator V2 core with the Coercion MXC Solid Reactive Cover is simply amazing. The combo makes this ball extremely versatile on all sorts of patterns from lighter volumes to heavy volumes. It has a lot of traction in the oil and saves a ton of energy down lane to be one of the more continuous pieces from Motiv. If you're looking for a versatile piece look no further as this new Jackal Legacy is the missing piece in your arsenal.

Wow! talk about ball motion! If you are looking for a piece that will get through heavy oil in the front's, store energy and still hit like a freight train this is your ball!
If you bowl in a drier house or on a lighter league pattern bringing the surface up from factory and or hitting it with a little polish really makes this ball shine on your THS.

The Jackal Legacy features the popular Predator V2 core wrapped around the Coercion MXC solid cover found on the Forge Flare. The difference, because the Legacy has an asymmetrical core, it is cleaner in the front part of the lane and doesn’t hook as early as the Flare. The shape it provides, for me, is very similar to the Ghost. That being said, the Legacy is a good 4-5 boards stronger. Compared to the Alpha Jackal, the Legacy handles heavy oil much better, and has a much quicker backend reaction. The Jackal Legacy is a perfect upgrade or compliment to the Ghost or Alpha.
