The Purple Tank is all about Control. I've used it on fresh and after transition and it is always consistent. I know when I pull the Purple Tank out that I am going to get a smooth motion that goes through the pins with malice. If I miss a little right it comes back and if I miss left it has hold. Truly an enjoyable ball to throw.

I'm not going to talk shop about fronts, boards or being continuous...
I will talk about how versatile this ball is! This is a great transition for those learning the concept of getting the ball to hook, or a more controlled piece for those that have a lot of revs. In the urethane category, I'd say the Purple Tank would be the benchmark ball.

Bowled in Nationals Las Vegas and had the pro shop there for an amazing drill for for having lots of fun inside and outside cranking that two hole ark Tank ripping the pins love it thanks again for a great drill
I bought this right at the end of the season last year, and right out of the gate I was throwing it with confidence. I picked up this ball due to the fact that the house I throw in has (had) wood lanes and the line would dry up really fast. This allowed me to stay inside while the middle was wet, and walk middle to throw outside as it would dry. The smooth motion was great for me as a mid-rev thrower. Then, as the lane would dry, if I needed to move outside and throw stronger, I could and still keep the same back end attack position.
Fast forward to this year, just started yesterday, and our house switched to synthetic lanes over the summer. Way new approach on the throw. Ball was coming back lined in oil and by the third game it was mostly gone, but the best part is I was able to keep my line almost all night. I highly recommend this ball, and any Motiv ball at this point.
I've recently converted to two hands, and now have a rev rate sufficient enough to be able to use urethane. I have found the Purple Tank to be my best option on the fresh on my local house shot, which was something of a surprise, urethane commonly being thought of as much more suited to sport shots. It's silky smooth, ultra-controllable, and very predictable, and rather relentlessly continuous. It also shapes a bit more downlane than I expected, but the really unexpected quality for me is how well it takes to surface changes. I actually keep a bit of polish on mine, which has helped make it so good on the house shot.
