Out of the box at 3000, i didn't understand the hype. Changed the surface to 1000, and boy did it grab! I have since played with more surfaces on this ball and worked on my hand positioning, and have gone back to 2500/3000. This ball is super controllable, and it always looks like its going to miss the pocket, but it doesn't. Thrown this ball in over 300 games and it still hits just as hard as it did when i first got it. I understand the hype now, and i can't leave this ball at home for any league or tournament.

On October 2, Of 2024 I bowled perfect 300 game with this ball. I bought this ball from a friend a couple years ago and ever since then I’ve been loving this ball. This is one of my top three favorite bowling balls in my arsenal when I bowl leagues and tournaments

I recently bought the newer version of the Jackal had it drilled so it would skid flip for the heavier oil patterns of my local house. Used out of the box surface for the first night. As a tweener the ball worked as I asked my proshop professional to layout the ball as I thought I needed it to react to the lane conditions. As the ball left my hand it skidded though my target (13 board) to read the friction around the 8th board at 40 feet, the ball reacted to the friction and entered the pin deck on the 18th board. Games for the night, Ghost 222, moving left 228, then lanes condition changed I used my Mystic 226 for a 676 series. I have always used my Ghost old as my first ball of the night, now I can use the new Ghost which in my opinion is the GOAT of bowling balls, thank you Motiv.

I just wanted to say that the Jackal Ghost bowling ball is the best ball I have used. I am a tweener with a 209 average. I can use it playing down and in. I also can use it over the second and third arrow. The ball carries well. I will be ordering a new one before the new season begins. Well done Motiv. My ball weight is 15.03 and at 68 I can use it comfortably.
