As a left hander I have never really found use for urethane however when I was headed into a tournament with difficult conditions it was recommended that I buy one. Being a Motiv guy I had to go with the Purple Tank and I couldn’t have made a better decision. This is the smoothest and most predictable ball I have ever thrown. It rolls the same over and over and it’s read down the lane never changes. I would definitely recommend this ball to anyone looking for a good urethane.

Been looking for a good Urethane for a bit now and tried this ball at a Motiv Test Drive event. Was blown away by the consistent motion and action this ball delivers. Amazing quality product that delivers with every throw.

The Purple Tank has shown its greatness on the lane for me, at my very last Youth State Tournament. Had just gotten the ball 2 days prior and only threw a few shots with it, I didn't know how it would work, but it has shown its real potential on the lane and its inane continuation.
My first 3 official games with the Purple Tank, I had went 290-258-279 for a 827 series. This ball is quite possibly the best Purple Ball on the market, with no questions asked. It has a smooth and predictable motion, with no sacrifice of hitting power and continuation through the pins. This ball really shines on lower oil conditions, but can still work even with a little more oil on the lane, making this ball a little versatile.
Overall, this ball is a great complement to the Covert Tank when the lanes are playing too strongly for it, for the Purple Tank is Urethane, and not Microcell, so it will not have as much grab on the lane. This ball is the REAL Purple Ball. No questions asked.

The Purple Tank is a beast on dry lanes. It cuts through the front and is real smooth on the backend. Would 100% recommended to anyone with a low rev rate or bowling on dry patterns

I have tried other brands of urethane in the past and this one is different by the way it shapes down lane. The Purple tank has more continuation than what I have seen out of other companies, not saying it is good or bad it’s just different from what people think of a Urethane ball. The Purple Tank seems to preserve more energy than what I see out of other versions of urethane. I personally can get more of a “traditional” urethane reaction out of a stronger pin, Tank Blitz. The Purple Tank is a good ball for lighter patterns and when players need some form of control.
