The Trident™ is the ultimate weapon for heavy oil and features MOTIV’s latest technology to provide massive hook potential.  Featuring the new Turbulent™ asymmetric core, the Trident™ explores a spec set no previous MOTIV release has targeted before.  This enables the ball to retain more energy and produce powerful continuation.  Coercion HVH (High Volume Hybrid) cover stock is also new technology.  It gives the Trident™ superb mid-lane read and an incredibly strong transition at the backend.  Tuned with a 3000 Grit LSS finish, this ball dominates on heavy oil.  The Trident is a heavy oil ball that offers massive hook potential and versatility.  Many league bowlers will find it playable on medium-heavy oil patterns too because it retains energy so well.

    Great ball

    I bought this ball off of one of my friends and it hooks great for my throw. It is comfortable and just the right weight for me. All around a great ball!

    30 Pin Increase Per Game. Instantly.

    A great combination that produces amazing motion in heavy oil conditions by clearing the front part of the lane, hooking hard in the mid lane while storing energy to blast through the pins. This ball is great for speed dominant bowlers as well as low rev bowlers looking for an increased hook.

    A very strong ball. Nothing wrong with it, but it's just not quite perfect. I find my games are more consistent, but I don't throw the very high games very often with it. Not a perfect ball, but still very hard to beat.

    300! Finally

    I have been bowling since I was 12. Did travel leagues as a teen and continued to bowl in casual leagues here and there throughout the years. Have used many different brands/balls over the years but have stuck with my Motiv Trident for the last 3 years. I am a 1 ball bowler. Strike ball, spare ball, heavy oil, light oil, you name it...one ball. I believe, if you cant make that ball work, you shouldn't bowl. (Just my personal thought)
    The Trident worked for me and finally, last week, I bowled my first 300! I love this ball and after using this Trident, I don't think I will go with any other brand other than Motiv.
    Thanks for making such a great ball.
