Introducing the Orion Nebula, the perfect follow-up to the out-of-this-world Nebula.  Built to be a step up from the original Nebula, the solid Orion Nebula brings more traction and control while still maintaining some of the down-lane motion that made the Nebula so impressive.  This is not your typical benchmark bowling ball; the Orion Nebula takes control and benchmark performance to a new galaxy. Dynamic Leverage Solid Reactive cover technology comes wrapped around the dual-density Hadron core for a fast but controlled response to friction on medium oil conditions.

Hadron Symmetrical

The Orion Nebula is powered by the same Hadron core found in the original Nebula. This dual density design creates a powerful combination of stability and stored energy for drive through the pins.  It gives the Orion Nebula the engine needed to create shape without becoming unpredictable.

Dynamic Leverage Solid Reactive

Dynamic Leverage was developed to give bowlers more control over their trajectory.  This solid reactive coverstock delivers a moderate response to friction, giving the Orion Nebula the ability to adapt as the lane environment changes.  This means that the Dynamic Leverage cover can be moderately fast in its response to friction when shined, but with some surface can truly allow the bowler to focus on control.

When to Use

  • Speed Dominant

Bowlers who are speed dominant will find the Orion Nebula useful in transition due to the higher RG and moderate Differential of the Hadron core and the moderate strength coverstock.  Speed dominant bowlers looking for a bit more traction and flare than their Venom Shock will love the Orion Nebula in that spot.

  • Balanced

Balanced players should find the Orion Nebula to be a versatile ball to fit around the middle of their bag.  The Orion Nebula is a benchmark ball for people who like to see more down lane motion or those who look to create more shape when using a benchmark.  Just above the Venom Shock and Black Venom, the Orion Nebula is a perfect fit in the middle of a Motiv arsenal.

  • Rev Dominant

For the rev dominant bowlers, the Orion Nebula is a fantastic fit. The added down lane motion that the Orion Nebula provides over a typical benchmark means that rev dominant players can be more aggressive with their moves and angles early and in the middle of league night.

EJ Tackett, 5 time PBA Player of the Year, tests out the new Orion Nebula. EJ sees the Orion Nebula as a stronger version of his favorite ball, the Venom Shock.  It is a medium oil benchmark that will easily allow him to gauge the conditions he's facing on tour!
