WHEN TO USE:

Speed Dominant:

The smooth motion of a solid coverstock gives speed dominant bowlers an option for shallow angles on dryer lanes.  The increased differential of the Halogen core over the Halogen V2 lets speed dominant bowlers use the Max Thrill where Top Thrills would be too clean. 

Balanced:

For balanced bowlers the Max Thrill is a great early option on dryer house shot leagues and second shifts.  The smooth motion is ideal for blending the shape of a house shot and the cleaner coverstock should serve as a great option on higher friction surfaces.

Rev Dominant:

    I got into bowling a few years ago and started with Hammer, but after watching reviews... I bought a Max Thrill Solid. This ball has increased my game to the next level and has given me the confidence to think about joining a league. I’m am a Motiv guy now just bought a lethal venom !

    Excellent ball

    This is a sleeper ball. By this I was pleasantly surprised at its versatility and strength. This has been a great addition to my arsenal. Really enjoy the shape it has going down the lane.

    It's so not an entry level ball

    So, I have the Top Thrill Solid and Pearl. They are great pieces, but there was just too much of a gap between the Venom line and the Top Thrills. The Max Thrill Solid has quickly become my house shot killer. This ball just does the right thing. I get the length and the controllable back end. The Max Thrill Solid and Top Thrill Solid have been my 1-2 punch on the house shot at center I bowl at. If you don't have one, get one!

    One Of The Most Versatile Balls Ever

    I would put this ball side-by-side with the !Q Tour. This ball is versatile, it can play up the gutter or cross lane (conditions depending), but the Max Thrill Solid can do it all. This is a must-have no matter if you're a league or tournament bowler. This is THE benchmark ball.

    Ball helps learning to hook

    Bowling is something I have taken up recently. The Max Thrill is my first bowling ball. Previously I was using a house ball. The Max Thrill made learning the correct release for hooking it an easy process, because when you do it correctly, the ball just hooks a little bit, but still enough to throw some great shots.
    When I throw the ball, I start farther to the right, and the ball hooks the perfect amount; enough to smash the pocket, but not hooking to the left ten pin.
    I also like the low amount of hook, because i can use the ball almost like a spare ball. Even if i get al small amount of rotation on it by accident, it still picks up a ten pin.
    I think the Halogen core does a great job of making all this possible. This core does a great job working with the centrifugal force of the ball going down the lane, and into the pins with each strike.

    I highly recommend the Max Thrill to anyone who is just getting into bowling, or just wants a weaker ball.
