The #REDBALL is back! Five years ago, MOTIV® released the Primal Rage. Immediately, the bowling world took notice. Bowling This Month named the #redball the most angular ball ever. Immediately it was a hit, being used to win a PBA title in the first event it was available, followed by many more wins in both professional and amateur events. 

In celebration of the 5 year anniversary, MOTIV® is now making a Primal Rage Limited Edition ball available.  Originally created for medium-heavy oil, the Primal Rage LE will be also be an outstanding medium oil ball in the modern environment. Inside this monster is the same dual-density Impulse V2 core that was in the original, but it is now wrapped in a Fusion HX pearl cover stock that merges Fusion with MOTIV’s new Hexion technology.

    Most Accurate MOTIV Ball

    I've used this ball since its release in 2018, and I can wholeheartedly say that this is probably one of the most controllable bowling balls that MOTIV has ever released. It's very smooth and reliable, but still moves hard on the lane and hits hard too.

    It's 2024 and I still both have this ball in my bag and regularly use this ball during league and tournament play. I fully intend on purchasing the new Primal Rage Evolution as well.

    Love this ball!!

    I purchased this ball in the summer of last year for use in the upcoming winter leagues.
    Had it drilled and then it sat in my locker as I couldn't figure out the right line and felt the angular motion was to much. However, I decided.to use it one night and since then, I have bowled great to include my 1st ever 800 series this year May 13 2026. I definitely love Motiv as I now have 3 different balls to include the Venom Shock and Hysteria. My game has drastically improved since the switch to Motiv. Highly recommend all the products Motiv offers!

    This ball is Absolutely True to the 1st one the Original!
    I bought two of them, Still 1 NIB.
    I rolled my 1st 800 series with this ball, Amazing ball it is.
    Being a lefty I can stay tight for the 1st game, 2nd game I open up more, 3 game it’s a beast. In all I’ve moved 5 boards and 2 with my eyes. It’s a great ball to have’ nothing come close to this ball in all the MOTIV balls I own. For a med to med/heavy ball, it never leaves my 6 ball arsenal. Thank you MOTIV for bringing this ball back. I’m hoping MOTIV will bring the T-10 core back soon 2021

    On medium oil, this is my go to ball. Very angular, hits hard. Glad I pulled the trigger on this one. (Impulse buy) My first Motiv ball, but definitely not my last.
