The Max Thrill Pearl will function as the end of the progression for a speed dominant bowler; meaning this will be the ball used for the driest lanes when angle is needed down lane. Speed dominant bowlers will have a ball they can trust at the end of a long qualifying block or when the lanes are truly dry.
Balanced bowlers will be amazed at the performance of the Max Thrill when looking for angle on dryer lanes. The Max Thrill Pearl is a significantly stronger down-lane option than the Top Thrill. Competitive bowlers will be able to trust the Max Thrill Pearl late in tournament blocks.

Don’t be fooled by the lower price tag. The Thrill series is just as much quality as any other Motiv ball. They hook plenty & hit hard. I have been using this ball on a house pattern for a couple years now & it shows no sign of slowing down. It mows pins over, period.

I was crossed between the Pearl or the hybrid but I kept leaning towards the Pearl. I drilled it 45X5X60. Needless to say this ball is more responsive then I expected. It’s a great ball down from the shock. First set out of the box was a 700 series with that’s last game having the first 9. It doesn’t go for ever before making a right turn. You can see it digging in the fronts once it hits the backend it like it gains speed and drives through the pins. It fits a home in my bag I didn’t know I needed.

This ball is perfect for when the lanes have broken down and get sloppy. This ball has saved my game many times this season. When the back ends are toast and it's nasty in the front this ball cuts through the mess up front and finishes consistently week after week. Great ball for late game or even as a starter for a follow up league that doesn't get fresh oil.

Absolutely love this ball, a great bang for your buck. I was deciding against the Thrill Hybrid or pearl ultimately chose the pearl. This ball glides through the front of the heads with ease, and has a nice down lane movement when it sees friction. First time out with the ball was on a fresh laid down pattern. Once I adjusted and closed my angles down the ball just walked into the pocket with devastating intentions. The ball blew up the pocket. I cannot wait to throw this ball in league and see what It does on a more broken down THS on my house. This ball is not just an entry level line it exceeds that expectation very quickly. I love this ball.
